General Terms and Conditions (GTC) / Terms and Conditions of Participation and Cancellation for Seminars and Webinars offered by anovica GmbH 

  1. scope of application  

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings for training and continuing education courses (face-to-face seminars, practical courses, online seminars, webinars) offered by anovica GmbH. Any deviating terms and conditions of the participants shall only apply if they have been expressly accepted in writing by anovica. 

  1. Registration and conclusion of contract  

Registration is binding and can be completed using the booking form on our website or by sending a written registration by email. Once registration has been received, the participant will be sent a booking confirmation and an invoice. The contract comes into effect upon receipt of the booking confirmation. 

The number of participants is limited. Places will be allocated in the order in which binding registrations are received. 

  1. Payment and invoicing  

Seminar fees must be transferred to the bank account specified on the invoice no later than three weeks before the start of the event. For last-minute bookings made within 21 days of the start of the event, payment is due immediately. Cash payments on site are not possible. Changes to invoices can only be taken into account before the start of the event. 

All prices are subject to statutory sales tax. If EU customers do not provide a valid sales tax identification number (VAT ID), the statutory sales tax of currently 19% will be charged. 

  1. Services  

Unless otherwise stated, the participation fee includes the following services: 

  • For in-person events: Course materials, meals as specified in the program, consumables for practical exercises 
  • For online events: access data, digital course materials (if applicable) 

ATF hours or AG-TFA hours will be applied for wherever possible. The relevant certificates will only be issued upon full participation and after all required attendance confirmations and evaluation forms have been completed. 

Participation in our events does not guarantee specific learning outcomes or exam success. 

  1. Cancellation and replacement participants  

Cancellations can only be made in writing by email to fortbildungen@anovica.de. 

The following cancellation deadlines apply to all seminars and webinars offered by anovica GmbH: 

  • Up to 3 weeks before the start of the event: free cancellation 
  • 3 weeks to 1 week before the start of the event: 50% of the participation fee will be charged 
  • Less than 1 week before the start of the event or no-show: no refund of the participation fee 

Substitute participant: A substitute participant may be named at any time without incurring additional costs. This change must be made in writing before the start of the event.

Recordings: The purchase of a recording can be canceled free of charge until the video is shipped. This usually takes place within 48 hours. Once the recording has been received, free cancellation is no longer possible.

  1. Cancellation and changes to events  

anovica GmbH reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the content or organization of events for good cause (e.g., illness of speakers, force majeure, insufficient number of participants), provided that this does not significantly affect the overall character of the event. 

In the event of cancellation, the participation fee will be refunded in full. Further claims, in particular compensation or consequential costs (e.g. for hotel or travel expenses), are excluded, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of anovica GmbH. 

  1. Copyright and usage rights  

All seminar documents, presentations, and content are subject to copyright. Reproduction, publication, distribution, or editing, even in part, is only permitted with the express written consent of anovica GmbH. 

The purchase of course materials or access to recordings does not grant the participant any further rights of use. In particular, sharing, making publicly available, or commercial use is prohibited. 

Webinars may not be recorded or distributed in any other way. Anovica GmbH reserves the right to record events (especially webinars). 

  1. Technical requirements and liability  

The liability of anovica GmbH is limited to intent and gross negligence. Any further liability, in particular for indirect damage, consequential damage, or loss of profit, is excluded. 

Participation in practical exercises is at your own risk. 

Participants are responsible for ensuring that the devices, software, and Internet connection they use to participate are technically functional. Stable Internet access, suitable devices, and, where applicable, up-to-date software are required to participate in online events. 

  1. data protection  

The personal data collected during registration will be treated confidentially in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations and will be used exclusively for the purpose of organizing the event and providing necessary information.
In addition, we reserve the right to send you information about other events we organize or similar training opportunities by email. You can object to this at any time. A corresponding unsubscribe link is included in every email. 

Data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the event to take place (e.g., to speakers or event venues).

  1. right of withdrawal  

Right of withdrawal for consumers pursuant to Section 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB): For the purposes of these General Terms and Conditions, a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor their independent professional activity. 

You have the right to cancel your registration within 14 days without giving reasons in writing (e.g. by email). The period begins on the day the contract is concluded, i.e. upon receipt of the registration confirmation or invoice. 

To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient to send the cancellation in good time to: anovica GmbH, Dorfäckerstraße 30, 90427 Nuremberg, email: fortbildungen@anovica.de 

Consequences of withdrawal: In the event of an effective withdrawal, any participation fees already paid will be refunded immediately, at the latest within 14 days of receipt of the withdrawal. The refund will be made using the same method as the original payment. 

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal: The right of withdrawal does not apply if: 

  • You have expressly agreed that the service (e.g., online seminar, webinar) will begin before the end of the withdrawal period, and you were aware that your right of withdrawal expires once the service begins. 
  • This is a last-minute booking made within 14 days of the start of the event. 
  • For digital content (e.g., recorded webinars or online courses), when access to the content has been activated. 
  1. Final provisions  

The place of jurisdiction and place of performance is the registered office of anovica GmbH, insofar as this is legally permissible. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. 

Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
